Muay Thai is an art of eight limbs where knees & elbows are used to great effect. It was considered to be a battlefield skill in olden days but it now regarded as a sport. The exact history of Muay Thai is unclear and there are a lot of contradictions.

A muay thai session starts with a long warm up session followed by pad & bag work. Every session of Muay Thai is quiet strenuous. But it has several benefits. It helps to burn calories & keeps oneself fit.
