Q 1. What inspired you to become an Automation Testing Trainer?
Ans. I struggled a lot to learn Java and after learning Java, it changed my entire life and career. Now Java has become a part of my life. I ensure that my students don’t have to struggle with Java like me.
Initially, I started with one student and now I teach more than 20 students per batch in an Automation testing class.
Q2. What do you think are the qualities of a great Automation Testing Trainer?
Ans. I think an Automation Testing Trainer has to devote his energy and efforts in helping his students learn all aspects of Automation testing. A trainer should help a student to prove his capabilities and instill confidence in his abilities. Working to enable students succeed in their career is one of the most important qualities in a trainer.
Q3. How you came across UrbanPro?
Ans. In 2014, I thought of getting some students to teach and I searched on internet for some websites that might help me find students. During those time, I came to know about UrbanPro.com (it was ThinkVidya then) and it had helped me to get many students.
Q4. How UrbanPro platform helped you to expand your Automation Testing classes?
Ans. I started teaching one student at my home in Feb, 2014. And I got some leads from UrbanPro.com, of course it was a challenge to convert those leads into real but it helped me to introduce myself as a trainer.
Q5. What percentage of your work comes from UrbanPro?
Ans. I conduct training classes only on Saturdays and Sundays. I have around 20 students per batch. I get around 50% of students from UrbanPro, 25% by referrals and 25% from some other sources.
Q6. One advice that you would like to give to new Pros on UrbanPro.
Ans. Try to think about students’ growth more than your own growth.
