Mikao Usui
Originated in 1922 by Japanese Buddhist Mikao Usui, Reiki is a unique Japanese healing technique especially used to reduce stress. Derived from the two prevailing Japanese words – Rei means “Higher Power” and Ki means “life force energy”. This simple yet natural self-improvement and healing method, Reiki is a balancing therapy form of physical, emotional, and mental diseases. Known as the alternative and an effective Pseudomedicine for diagnosing specific medical conditions, Reiki is reflected as a Pseudoscience. In fact, it’s often considered as spiritually guided life force energy.
It’s true that Reiki has been revised across the world today and practitioners across the globe use a famous technique called palm healing. However, unlike the other value added classes, Reiki is not taught in the usual sense but unswervingly transferred to the student during a Reiki class itself. Usui Reiki
Usui Reiki is the world most famous and the first form of Reiki that developed by the founder Mikao Usui in 1922. This Reiki is primarily used for self-improvement in order to help realize the value of spirituality and connect to the higher power. Simply, Usui Reiki’s power and effectiveness allows an individual to understand the power of the creator. However, as we all accept that “change” is only constant in this world thus; Usui Reiki has undertaken several changes as time passes and to some extent now it differs from the original.
Tibetan Reiki
Mostly grounded in the studies of Arthur Robertson’s Raku Kai Reiki, Tibetan Reiki uses crystals, healing guides and various Tibetan symbols in order to generate the healing power or the life force energy. This form of Reiki helps to revitalize the chakra system, balancing the two sides of the body, receiving spiritual advice and guidance, knowledge of hidden mysteries, invocation of beneficial spiritual entities and so on. However, we collectively accept that there is not much difference between Tibetan Reiki and Usui Reiki.
Karuna Reiki
The form of Reiki that enriches the ability to understand the spiritual guidance, Karuna Reiki was derived from the Sanskrit word “Compassion”. It was created by the William Lee Rand – The International Center for Reiki Training. It is a form of healing that has evolved from the Usui Reiki System; it helps lighten the agony through compassion.
Rainbow Reiki
Settled by the Walter Lubeck in the late 80’s, Rainbow Reiki is also evolved from the traditional teaching of Usui Reiki. However, Rainbow Reiki is considered profound as compared to Usui Reiki due to its contemporary procedures such as Human Psychology, Holistic Communication Science and much more with prehistoric principles. This Reiki helps create a balance among chakras and gain higher self.
Shamballa Reiki
Shamballa Reiki is also known as the “Multidimensional Healing” helps purify, overhaul and balance the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual level. This healing energy helps discover the value or help comprehend the aspect of life. Shamballa Reiki contains 1024 symbols which are divided into four levels (256 symbols each) which are transmitted telepathic.
