Typically, children with dominant left-brain tend to be logical, objective, analytical and perform well in academics. - Routines are all fine: Unlike the right-brained children, the left-brain oriented kids are fine with routine things like having breakfast at the same time, and following rules or instructions. Actually, they prefer set rules rather than doing things randomly.
- Loves planning: These organized children have the habit of planning things in advance, to avoid chaos and complete things within time.

- Decision making: Make decisions after considering a number of evidence and information. With the left-brain child, taking a decision is always a calculated action. They are not likely to take decisions on a whim or gut feeling alone.
- Likes to read: They are more into reading, learning about new concepts and stuffs.
- Good at following directions: These kids can easily follow directions. They have great sense of directions.
The left-brain child can be great at studies and do everything following instructions. But they may find themselves a little awkward in social scenes, where they need to interact with other kids or make friends.
