Score 0-9 : Poor performance

Score 10-17: Primary stage
A 10-17 score in Speaking section means you have just have a rudimentary grasp on English. It neither reflects your confidence or brilliance over the subject. At this stage, you can take some time in hand, prepare once more and score better in TOEFL by appearing again.
Fair (18–25)

Good (26–30)

Writing Section

Fair (17–23) : Comfortable with English

Good (24–30)
The best bandscore you can have in the Writing section is between 24 and 30. It reflects your knack and grasp over English. On this score, you are sure to be accepted by most educational institutes and colleges abroad.
