If you know that Beatles and Steven Seagal got inspired by Nehru for their dresses or theorigins of Kuchupudi , you should make it to the India Quiz organized by Indian Quizzing League (IQL) on January 26, 2012.
Indian Quizzing League, a Chennai based quiz club is organizing “India Unplugged”, South India’s first and Chennai’s only specialty quiz based entirely on India. Started in 2009, India Unplugged celebrates the diversity and grandeur of India through this annual quiz that happens every year on the Republic Day. Over the years, we had teams participating from Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mumbai and Kolkata. The quality and the spread of the quiz is such that every year India Unplugged has produced new champions
India Unplugged happens in a Prelim-Final format. The Prelim will be a written round with the questions projected on screen and six teams will be selected for the final based on the scores. The final will have multiple rounds filled with interesting questions in multimedia format. There will be special questions for audiences too. Teams of 3 can participate and as it’s a open quiz, there are no reservations on any counts. A nominal fee of Rs.100 will be charged for Open Teams while there will be no registration fee for all school teams.
India Unplugged is sponsored by Landmark and co-sponsored by ThinkVidya. Chennai Online is the Online Partner for the quiz. The quiz will happen on January 26th, 2012 at Tattavaloka Auditorium, Alwarpet, Chennai from 9.30 AM
