Here is an excerpt of the interview where he shared his exciting and successful journey as a C Language Trainer on UrbanPro.
Q. How and when you started as a C Language Trainer?
Ans. It all started in 2006, when I was doing my first year graduation in Computer Science from Siva Subramaniya Nadar College of engineering, #1 private engineering college in Tamil Nadu. I got a chance to teach my dad’s friend’s son who was in 9th standard (CBSE) for Computer Science and Mathematics. I took the opportunity and continued for 4 years till my student completed his 12th standard and I completed my degree.
I got a job from my college placements, but I want to follow my passion and continue teaching as a part-time vocation, as I was passionate about it. So I printed small pamphlets with details about my experience and distributed among school students (when school students finishes their classes).
I distributed around 1,000 pamphlets and got a call for home tutoring. That was the small start. Then I registered with UrbanPro (then it was ThinkVidya.com), I received another call where I used to take classes on Saturday and Sunday for 9th Standard Computer Science, Mathematics, travelling almost 20 kms.
I am a Senior Software Engineer from a reputed MNC but that didn’t stopped me in continuing teaching giving my best to the students.
Over the years, the number of students increased. I give Home Tuitions, Online Tuitions and also teach in institutes. In 2015, I trained a batch completely from TalentSprint institute in Chennai. As a result, I shared my knowledge to 200+ students across India and countries including US, UK, Canada and Brazil (online classes for abroad students). I am overwhelmed to receive 83 positive reviews from students and winning 2014 & 2015 UrbanPro Excellence Award.
Q. What skills and personal attributes do you think a good C Language Trainer should have?
Ans. Any programming trainer should train the students more practically. The trainer should give more programs to practice and take the classes with a more practical approach. The trainer should be friendly to the students.

Q. How you came across UrbanPro?
