Q 1. What inspired you to become a tutor?
Ans. Teaching is my passion. I enjoy teaching and helping people find their right path. Teaching gives me mental satisfaction and helps me stay updated about various subjects. It is a noble profession which helps students build their character, caliber and confidence to achieve their goals in life.
Q2. What do you think are the qualities of a great .NET MVC tutor?
Ans. First of all it is very difficult to teach MVC subject because students should have basic knowledge of ASP.NET, C#, Database, CSS, JQUERY, JavaScript, etc.
The pattern of .NET MVC coding also vary from company to company and from tutor to tutor. It is also very difficult to find books on MVC. Each book has different logic. Student must have already done at least one or two projects before learning this subject. So prerequisite for learning .NET MVC is high but due to huge demand and high salary package students are keen to learn .NET MVC.
There is a great demand for .NET MVC developers in the job market. As I am working as a Team Leader in a Software Company, I know the importance and practical approach of teaching MVC.
It’s very easy to teach C, C++, JAVA, ASP.NET or Python as compared to MVC because students have to constantly get updated according to the current scenario.
Other than that the main qualities of a tutor are Patience, Passion and Persistence.
Q3. How you came across UrbanPro?
Ans. Few years ago I was looking for a tutor for my online classes. Then I stumbled across UrbanPro. I was really impressed with it and I felt that it will be the next generation virtual classroom. And now it’s the place where I found my Ekalavyas (Online students – whom I would have never connected without UrbanPro).
Q4. How UrbanPro platform helped you to expand your .NET MVC training classes?
Ans. As an author of 11 books and teaching for the last 12 years, I taught around 300+ local students. But after associating with UrbanPro, I started getting students from abroad and different parts of the country. I particularly want to share one extraordinary story, once I got a call from Mr. Hari who lived in Dharmapuri District of Tamil Nadu. He mostly communicates in Tamil and I don’t know anything about the Tamil language. He knows a little bit of English. Still we started, and continued online tuition for 4 months, and today he is earning a decent package in a reputed company. Helping him improve his life was one of the happiest days in my life. And I thank UrbanPro for giving me that opportunity.
Q5. What percentage of your work comes from UrbanPro?
Ans. Around 40% of my work comes from UrbanPro.
Q6. One advice that you would like to give to new Pros on UrbanPro.
Ans. I would advise that if you are really passionate about teaching your skill/subject, you should reach out to more students via UrbanPro.
