Meet Rajini Govil, a GMAT trainer from Mumbai

Rajini Govil is a certified GMAT trainer who holds a master degree in English literature and a diploma in counselling and dietetics. She has been teaching GMAT, GRE, SAT, ACT, IELTS and TOEFL for the past 13 years. Currently located in Powai (Mumbai), Rajini conducts online as well as commercial classes and has taught more than 5000 students in her teaching career.

Here is an excerpt from the interview with Rajini Govil.

Q1. When and how did you start as a GMAT trainer?

Ans: I started my teaching career in 2007 in an organisation called GEC Chembur. One fine day, I saw an advertise requiring GMAT trainer in the Mumbai Mirror, and that’s how the journey began.

Q2. What skills are required to become a GMAT trainer?

Ans:  One needs to be patient, knowledgeable, friendly, confidence, and up to date with the current developments in GMAT are some of the essential skills to be possessed.

Q3. What do you think makes you stand out from other GMAT trainers on UrbanPro.com?

Ans:  I have slogged six months sieving the eight global books of GMAT and taught for 13 years around 1,000 students across the globe.

Q5. What was the turning point in your career?

Ans: My career began in 2007, but I wanted to make it big. Thus, in 2011, I started my classes under the banner Rajini Tutor – this was the biggest turning point in my life.
