Here is an excerpt from the interview with Nakul Gowda.
Q1. When and how did you start as a PTE trainer?
After failing terribly for three consecutive times in the PTE test, I secured an overall score of 90, which is the highest one can get. The experience that I earned from my failures, motivated me to guide the PTE takers. And that’s how my journey of training PTE test takers began in August 2017.
Q2. What skills are required to become a PTE trainer?
I presume, for any trainer; it’s quintessential to understand the mindset of students. A trainer should be the one, who helps students discover themselves and also to understand their capabilities; focus on strength and overcome their shortcomings. PTE is just another English exam, but it is computer evaluated. So, having a clear understanding of how the software works, along with basic English skills, is crucial to crack this exam.
Q3. What do you think makes you stand out from other PTE trainers on UrbanPro.com?
Though PTE is an English exam, not everyone is aware of how a computer can evaluate one’s English. I would like to differentiate myself from others in a way wherein I understand the working of PTE software. Also, at the beginning of every class, I never miss to give a motivational talk; this inspires my students, and that enlightened mindset plays a significant role in the exam.
