Here is his experience & teaching journey in his own words:
1. When and how did you start as a Commerce Trainer?
Ans: I quote ” A good teacher is the one who makes the difficult subject easy to understand even to the weakest student”. With this quote – I started my institute under the brand name “Knowledge Park Classes” in the year 2017 with an aim to provide personalised classes and attention to commerce stream students across various courses including CA, CS, B.com, 12th, 11th and more.
2. What skills are required to become a Commerce Trainer?
Ans: I always say “You should be a teacher by choice not by chance”. You need a good “Subject” knowledge. However, one must have excellent man-management skills and must be able to read and understand the learning pattern of the student to succeed in modern-day teaching. Great oratory skills along with the ability to motivate will be cherry on the cake. Not to mention, being internet savvy is a fundamental necessity for a modern-day tutor.
3. What do you think makes you stand out from other Commerce Trainers on UrbanPro.com?
Ans: I feel my ‘mentorship’, ‘interactive class experience’ along with my flexibility and adaptability works in my favour apart from the must-have skills of ‘great explanations’ and subject ‘knowledge’. My experience of managing teams in the past also helps me to a great extent to understand student learning speed, learning patterns and accordingly in providing customised classes. That surely gives me an edge over others.
4. How did you come across UrbanPro.com?
Ans: I came across UrbanPro through online search while creating ads for my website.
5. What was the turning point in your career?
Ans: I think the turning point was when I was promoted as an AM in Indiamart Intermesh Limited to manage a team. Because at that time I realised that I am made for mentorship and I love explaining things in the easiest way possible. Starting CS course also helped and obviously, I needed a platform to make my love for teaching available to the world and UrbanPro came as a blessing for me.
6. How has UrbanPro.com platform helped you to expand your Commerce Classes?
Ans: I think connecting me with the potential students and introducing me to a student was a great thing. It built trust and helped me in gaining the confidence of students. After a few classes students are going to judge you on your teaching style but to get students to take initial classes the “UrbanPro” brand name helps a lot.
7. What percentage of your work comes from UrbanPro.com?
Ans: I am getting more than 80% of my students from UrbanPro.
