The unavailability of Language Coaching Centres for Indian languages made Asha S think how to change the scenario and help many outsiders learn a local language. In an endeavor to solve this problem, Asha used technology to spread her knowledge and expertise of Telugu language using online tools like Skype. Passionate, innovative and goal-oriented in her teaching approach, Asha make her students learn the Telugu language in the most simple and effective way. She completed her Masters degree from Osmania University and since then she had been helping students learn the Telugu language.

Q 1. How and when you started to work as a Telugu Language Trainer?
Ans. I started my career as a teacher, but later I became a Language Trainer. As technology is improving day by day, I thought to be at par with it. In this digital world, Teaching also took a new form which made learning process very simple and easily accessible. I found a lot of people are facing problem to speak in the local language when they migrate to a new place. We often see Spoken English Centers and Online Videos, but rarely for any other languages. So, I thought why shouldn’t it be for Telugu and Tamil Languages. I decided to teach Telugu and Tamil Languages, similar to Spoken English classes. I choose online as a medium and started taking classes in Skype, from 2014. My teaching experience in the school was also an added advantage as it helped me to understand the students’ level of understanding different concepts.
Q 2. What do you think makes a great Telugu Language Trainer?
Ans. I think, my teaching methodology, patience and adaptability with the students’ understanding level, and my students’ reviews gives a clear picture of my training classes.
