Q1. When and how did you start as a guitar trainer?
Speaking about my teaching experience, I have been in this field for more than 14 years. Also, I have been associated with several prominent music institutions for several years. People who have watched my videos say that my music speaks more for me than my words.
Q2. What skills are required to become a guitar trainer?
Though I believe that a guitarist is never completely trained to become a trainer. It is essential for every musician to be adept with the basic techniques of playing instruments. No matter how much a person practices and gains expertise, there is always room for more learning and improvement. No one can ever attain perfection.
Q3. What do you think makes you stand out from other guitar trainers on UrbanPro?
I don’t compare myself with anyone as I feel that every individual on this platform is unique in their knowledge and expertise. Talking of myself, the music I create speaks volumes about the experience I possess. I portray the experiences of my life, through music. When training students, I always try to share my knowledge with them and pass on what I learned as a student.
Q4. How did you come across UrbanPro.com?
I came across UrbanPro through one of my friends, who was registered as a trainer on UrbanPro.
Q5. What was the turning point in your career?
I’m not sure if there ever was a ‘turning point’ in my career. I think that a career is built over the years and is based on accrued experience. It is impossible to reach a destination or achieve a goal without enduring the calamities and enjoying the good fortune that happens along the way. Previous experience shapes future decisions and the hard-and-fast rule should be not to make the same mistake again. Determine the goals, do your homework, create a plan, do your best to execute it and revise along the way. This way, one can have milestones instead of turning points.
Q6. How did Urban pro help you expand your teaching classes?
UrbanPro unites the country on one platform. Anyone who has access to UrbanPro can search for his/her requirements. Earlier I had set my boundaries to my locality, but now I teach students from all over India. I don’t need to be physically present, I am able to teach online. Thanks to today’s advanced technology and of course UrbanPro. I must say that UrbanPro expanded my horizon beyond the physical presence. It really helped me to extend teaching across India.
Q7. What percentage of your work comes from Urban Pro?
Almost 30% to 35% of my work comes from UrbanPro.
