Eat healthy

Whether you want to exercise at home or workout at gym, you must ensure to spend at least 30 min every day on your fitness regime. Make it a point to work out regularly to stay fit and healthy and even when you cannot make separate time for exercises, ensure you have some sort of physical activity e.g. walking up a distance to your office, instead of taking the lift climb up the stairs, play with your pets or kids. Doing meditation has a number of benefits such as reduces blood pressure, anxiety, works as mood enhancer, controls weight and gives you peace of mind. So make meditation one of your must-do activities every single day.
Drink plenty of water
Water is essential for a healthy body. Drink at least eight glasses of water every day to provide your body with the necessary fluids. Take no fluid as a substitute of water e.g. don’t drink sugar rich energy drinks or bottled juices instead of water. If you opt for natural juices (sugar-free) then it’s alright. Drinking water keeps your body cool and flushes out toxic.
Say ‘No’ to alcohol and smoking
In order to lead a healthy life, you need to quit smoking and drinking alcohol. Drinking alcohol regularly causes a number of negative health effects – liver cirrhosis, pancreas & stomach infection, heart disease and hypertension. It also have adverse effect on brain and thinking capacity which impacts professional performance. Smoking have equally adverse health effects, it damages the liver and weakens the heart. If you are willing to live a healthy life, stay away from cigarettes and drinking alcohol.
