Maths Exam– Maths exam is 80 marks and the time allotted to the students is 3 hrs. This 80 marks paper comprises of 30 questions, which are divided into- 6 questions of 1 mark each, 6 questions of 2 marks each, 10 questions of 3 marks each and 8 questions of 4 marks each. Candidates will have an option of choosing from four questions of 3 marks each and three questions of 4 marks each and they have to attempt any one of the choices. They’ll be given marks for important steps and the correct conclusion.
Science Exam– This 80 marks paper, tests a student’s understanding of concepts based knowledge for the subject. Within 3 hrs, a candidate is expected to complete a set of 27 questions that will comprise of 2 questions of 1 mark each, 3 questions of 2 marks each, 10 questions of 3 marks each and 6 questions of 5 marks each. 12 marks are the practical questions. Students can attain maximum marks by using diagrams and proper labeling.
Social Science– This examination paper comprises subjects like Geography, history, civics and economics and is considered as one of the most scoring subjects. With precise answers within the word limit, a candidate can fetch maximum marks. This paper also comprises of 27 questions that will be compulsory, except few questions that may have internal choices. The question paper will comprise of short and long type questions of 1 mark, 3 marks and 5 marks respectively along with map-based questions.
Languages– Language papers have equal distribution for sections like comprehension, grammar and literature to test the skills of the candidates.
