Eligibility Criteria:
Nationality
A candidate must be either
a) a Citizen of India
b) a subject of Nepal
c) a subject of Bhutan
d) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India
e) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India
f) Candidates belonging to b/c/d/e category shall be able to produce a favor of certificate of eligibility issued by the Govt. of India.

Selection Procedures:
The selection procedure for the 53 Specialists Officer would be based on – Written Test (Online) and Interview. Just satisfying the eligibility norms is not sufficient to be called for the Written Test or Interview.
