Eligibility Criteria:
Nationality
(a) a citizen of India
(b) a subject of Nepal
(c) a subject of Bhutan
(d) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India
(e) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Other than candidates who are Indian citizen, the rest belonging in b, c, d and e categories need to produce certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India.
Educational Qualifications
Applicants should have the certificate of passing the qualifying exam as on 28.02.2015.
For General Stream, candidates should have a Degree in any discipline from a recognized University OR any equivalent qualification recognized as such by Central Government.
For Specialist Stream, candidates should have a Degree in the relevant discipline from a recognized University OR any equivalent qualification recognized as such by Central Government.

Age

Administrative Officer Selection Process
The final selection of candidates for the Administrative Officer job would be based on overall performance in the Online Examination and Interview.

Exam Patterns to Note:
- ¼ of the allotted marks would be deducted for each wrong answer.
- Descriptive English Test would be conducted only through Online mode.
- Total marks for the exam would be 200. Candidates would be shortlisted based on their performance in the objective and descriptive section.
- Cut off Score would be applied in two stages:
a) On scores in individual tests
b) On Total score
- Candidates require to obtain a minimum score in each section of the objective test separately to be shortlisted for the Descriptive paper evaluation/Interview.
- Descriptive paper would be evaluated only for candidates whose have passed the Objective test
- Cut offs for Descriptive and further shortlisting would be decided depending on the number of vacancies
- The test is available in both Hindi/English. However, the medium of writing the Test of English Language is English.
Interview
Candidates who have been shortlisted in the Online Examination would be called for interview, up to 3 times the vacancies of respective discipline/category. Necessary venue details, timing and date would be informed to respective selected candidates in advance. There is no option of candidates changing the set date, timing and venue of the interview. The weightage of the Online Examination and Interview would be 80:20.

Service Conditions
Selected candidates should be ready to join at the place of posting offered to them. They should not request for change of posting for a period of 05 years.
Probation Period
Candidates who are appointed in the Officers’ cadre on regular pay rolls of the Company shall be on probation for a period of 1 year from the date of joining the duty. The probation period may be extended twice maximum for a period of six months each.
If candidates are not able to pass the “Licentiate Examination” during probation period, the company holds complete authority to terminate the officer from service without any notice or assigning any reason thereof.
Guarantee Bond
Prior to joining as probationer, the selected candidates need to serve the company for at least 4 years including the probation period. If a candidate resigns before the expiry of bond period, he needs to pay liquidated damages equivalent to one year’s gross salary paid to them during the year of probation.
Candidates resigning within the probation period or whose services are terminated by the company shall be liable to pay the salary received by them during their entire service in the company, in addition to an amount of INR 40,000 partial training costs.
Salary & Other Benefits
Candidates would paid a basic pay of INR 17,240 in the scale of INR 17,240-840(14)-29,000-910(4)-32640 and other admissible allowance as applicable. Total pay would be INR 36,000/- p.m. (approx.) in Metropolitan Centers. Other benefits such as PF, Gratuity, LTS, Medical Benefits, Group Personal Accident Insurance etc. shall be as per government rules.
