When Chandan failed to realise his dream of joining IIT, falling short of just 10 marks, it broke him down. He took upon himself, to help as many students as possible to crack the JEE exam. He started teaching, when he was just 17 years. Over the last few years, Chandan helped more than 50 students clear the JEE Advanced exam. He is a passionate JEE Trainer, who is focused on providing best training classes and help students crack the JEE exam. Most of his students are studying in IITs and NITs.

Here is an excerpt of the interview with Chandan Kumar, an Expert IIT JEE Trainer:
Q1. When and how did you start as an IIT JEE Trainer?
Ans. I started as an IIT JEE Trainer in the year 2008 formally, although I have been teaching since I was 17 years. Physics comes naturally to me. I can come up with any idea and correlate Physics with practicality. Thus, I started teaching so as to share my ideas with students.
Q2. What skills are required to become an IIT JEE Trainer?
Ans. A passionate individual is always a learner. There is no time frame for learning, therefore an IIT JEE Trainer should inculcate the habit of reading, learning new concepts and try opting simple approaches for complex questions. One should have in-depth knowledge of the subject and understand the students. In the initial years of teaching, a teacher should focus more on learning than teaching.
Q3. What do you think makes you stand out from other IIT JEE Trainers on UrbanPro.com?
Ans. I have always been passionate about my profession. It is my knowledge, teaching methodology and capability of creating the shortest way to solve any problem, makes me stand out among other teachers.

Q5. What was the turning point in your career?
Ans. In 2013, 40 out of 45 of my students got selected in JEE Mains. My students worked hard for a month and 21 of them got qualified in JEE Advanced, 2013. That year and those happy moments of seeing my students succeed, I can never forget in my entire life. I felt through my students, I somehow make my own of joining IIT Dream come true. I missed IIT just for 10 marks.
