Why did you choose teaching as a profession?
With about 13 family members working as teachers across various schools and locations, teaching has been a significant presence in my family. This early exposure greatly influenced my interest in education from childhood. I made the firm decision to become a teacher during my fifth-grade year. Despite opportunities in different roles, including administrative positions, I declined them as my passion lies in teaching.

After retiring two years ago, I decided to establish a coaching center. However, my initial experience was not fulfilling. This prompted me to explore online options, leading me to discover UrbanPro. How much time did it take for them to get the first student?
It took approximately one and a half months. Initially, I faced some challenges, but over time, I gradually started attracting more students. Presently, I feel quite comfortable with the platform.

Can you share a specific success story regarding any students you taught on UrbanPro?
Certainly, I have an inspiring success story from last year. I had the privilege of teaching five students in the 12th grade. One student in particular stood out – she had significant difficulties with accountancy and calculations. Hailing from Hyderabad, she joined my classes, and her progress was remarkable. Through consistent effort, she managed to achieve an outstanding 98% in her final exams.
Another student’s story was equally compelling. This student, based in Madras, had a less fortunate experience with an online learning platform before coming to me. It appeared that the previous platform had not adequately prepared him, leaving him uncertain about his upcoming 12th-grade exams. In January, his parents reached out to me through UrbanPro, urgently seeking assistance. Despite the looming February exams, I gladly took on the challenge and started tutoring him immediately.
I’m delighted to share that this student, despite his initial setbacks, secured an impressive 91 marks in the final exam. This achievement brought immense joy to both the student and his parents. His dedication and willingness to collaborate during our tutoring sessions were truly commendable. What makes this success even more significant is that he exceeded expectations, considering he was initially predicted to score between 40 to 50 marks. This accomplishment has been a source of great satisfaction and pride for me as an educator.
