We are happy to announce Abdul Gaffar, an Arabic Teacher from Antop Hill, Mumbai, as the Tutor of the Month. His journey started thirteen years back. In his career, he worked in Saudi Arabia for seven years. There he worked as an accountant in a resort and taught English to Arabic kids. Then, as he wanted to teach students, he started teaching online and providing home tuitions. Until now, he has trained almost 300 students. After completing his diploma course in Arabic from Mumbai University, he taught a few students Arabic and from then on, his love for teaching increased. Q1. When and how did you start working as an Arabic Language Trainer?
Ans. In 2008, I was working in Saudi Arabia in a resort as an accountant. There I used to work as a part-time English tutor. My students were Arab kids. I used to communicate with them in Arabic, where I got fluency In spoken Arabic. In 2016 I came to India and started teaching Colloquial Arabic to the people who were looking for a job in Arab countries or having some business set up in Arab countries. By the end of 2016, I came to know about UrbanPro. It’s been 5 years since I started working on this platform.
