Meet Acharya Arun, UrbanPro’s Tutor of the Month

We are happy to feature Acharya Arun, a certified Sanskrit tutor from Gautam Nagar, Delhi. He carries over seven years of experience in teaching Sanskrit and Hindi. He has trained more than 1000 students across the country. Sanskrit is a mathematical language, and he loves teaching and helping students learn Sanskrit with ease. Arun has a thorough knowledge of Sanskrit grammar and pronunciation. Not just that, his unique ability to grasp students’ shortcomings and address them effectively has been his forte.

A teacher by profession, Arun has helped many individuals learn to read, write and speak Sanskrit confidently. For him, teaching is not just about showing how much he knows; it’s about patience and the ability to explain the topics in many ways until his students understand. Arun is currently teaching Sanskrit and Vedic Literature in Gurukul. He teaches religious books of Sanskrit such as Shrimad Bhagavad Gita, Upanishads, Ramayana, Mahabharata etc. He also teaches Vedic Literature – Vedas, Upanishads, Darshan Granth, Puranas, Geeta, Ramayana and Vedic Vyakaran upto the postgraduate level. He is a great tutor who is always ready to share his knowledge with the world.

Here is his experience & teaching journey in his own words:

Q1. When and how did you start working as a Sanskrit Tutor?

Ans. I started teaching Sanskrit in 2013. I have enjoyed teaching since college. I had a dream from my childhood that I would become a teacher. My friends also told me that my teaching method is very good, so I felt that I should teach Sanskrit.

Q2. What skills are required to become a Sanskrit tutor?

Ans. To teach any language, you should have a good knowledge of it. To teach the Sanskrit language, you must have pure pronunciation and a thorough understanding of grammar because Sanskrit is a mathematical language.

Q3. What, according to you, helps you stand out from other Sanskrit Tutors on UrbanPro.com?

Ans. My Sanskrit pronunciation, in-depth knowledge of Sanskrit grammar and unique ways of teaching are amongst the few skills that help me stand out from other Sanskrit Tutors.

Q4. How did you come across UrbanPro.com?

Ans. I was looking for a platform where I could get students to teach, I saw many platforms on the Internet and worked for a while, but I didn’t like them very much, then I saw UrbanpPro, I read the reviews on the play store and found it a useful platform, and I got registered on it.

Q5. What was the turning point in your career?

Ans. UrbanPro is the turning point in my life. Earlier, I used to teach nearby children. After coming to UrbanPro, I am teaching students not only in Delhi but also in almost all of India’s states.

Ans. UrbanPro has helped me a lot. Earlier, I used to teach only 40–50 children, but now with the help of UrbanPro, I am teaching 150–200 children.

About the Tutor:

Arun has been conducting basic to advanced level Sanskrit classes for a large number of students since 2013. He holds a master’s degree from Kurukshetra University (KUK). Apart from his academic qualifications, he researches, studies and analyses Vedic Literature in Gurukul. Arun is well versed in Sanskrit, Hindi and English.
