Q1. When and how did you start as a Kannada language tutor?
Ans: When I got retired in 2013 after having worked in an International School as a language teacher for seven years, I thought I should start helping people from other states who have migrated to Bengaluru to converse in the local language. After that, I advertised on Google for Spoken Kannada classes. Later I got a call from Thinkvidya to register on their platform. This is how it all started.
Q2. What skills are required to become a Kannada language tutor?
Ans: A tutor has to possess qualities such as comforting the learners when they are stressed, make students learning journey a joyous experience etc. Tutors should always make their availability to students a priority. Also, it is equally important to have a friendly nature.
