Q1. When and how did you start as a Carnatic music teacher?
I have been into Carnatic music for the last 14 years. Earlier, I used to conduct musical concerts and attend district and state level competitions. After having joined UrbanPro in 2016, I decided to impart my knowledge to students and ever since, I have been working as a full-time Carnatic music teacher. One should have a passion for music. That is what drives you to do something which you have never done before. From my perception, being patient, possessing good listening skills and having an interest in teaching is essential to become a good teacher.
