Q1. When and how did you start as an IELTS Trainer?
Ans. I started with IELTS Training in 2014, when an opportunity came along through an educational consultancy to train some college students. I enjoyed the process and went on to train with the British Council to teach for IELTS.
Q2. What skills are required to become an IELTS Trainer?
Ans. English language proficiency at an advanced level is the primary requirement of an IELTS Trainer as one needs to train test takers to achieve high band scores. Next is the ability to manage students at various levels in a class and cater to the needs of each.
Q3. What do you think makes you stand out from other IELTS Trainer on UrbanPro.com?
Ans. I provide complete guidance to all my students from the time they sign up till they take the exam. There is a lot of focus on the writing section, with very detailed evaluation and feedback. I’m accessible to my students at all times and provide individual attention to every student.

Q5. What was the turning point in your career?
Ans. Starting IELTS Training was a turning point in my career. For over a decade, I performed various roles in Product Development, Retail Planning, HR & Operations where communication played an important part and when I finally started training for IELTS and discovered my love for teaching, I made the decision early on to be an Independent Trainer where I can draw upon my previous experience and design and deliver customised courses. So IELTS training has set the path to becoming an Educator as well as an Entrepreneur.
