Q1. How long would it take to become fluent in the French language?

Expert Answer: Thanks for this question. It is the most common question from learners. That depends on the learner and also the trainer. If you practice well and grasp the things quickly, you can surely learn within 6 months. But it also depends on the command of your trainer on the subject.

Q2. When is the best time to get the children enrolled in French language Class?

Expert Answer: Thanks Payal, we all know that children have strong grasping power, so we must start their language learning from 7th or 8th Standard. Also, this will enable them to develop that early interest. It will also help them to better get to the depth of the language in later years and without pressure. Nowadays, schools have also increased the workload, so 2 or 3 classes per week is sufficient for them.

Q3. How important is the French language in foreign countries, will it give me a better exposure for my career?

Expert Answer: As I believe a new language is a new vision of life and there are immense opportunities in foreign countries if you have an expertise in French or any other foreign language. Surely, you may get great exposure in different sectors like Schools, Colleges, Banks, Embassies and MNCs.

Q4. I work in Technology space & completed a degree in Analytics/Data-Science recently. If I opt to learn French to enhance my career prospects in EMEA region, would it be a sensible choice over the Spanish language?

Expert Answer: Leaving Central and Latin America, French is obviously widely spoken than the Spanish language. Regarding career prospects in your trade, I may not be able to guide you very specifically. In the end, whatever language you choose to learn, command over the language is critical, to get good jobs in MNCs.

Q5. How is the French language different from other languages? How can learn the French language?

Expert Answer: The French language is different from other languages in the way that it has different pronunciation rules which are a bit difficult to understand initially. But with practice, you start enjoying the activity. So practice is key.

Q6. How to become a French Language Trainer?

Expert Answer: Vartika, knowing and understanding the topics clearly is the only formula to be a great French Language Trainer because command over the language will only help you in explaining well. So whatever you learn, learn it with full dedication. Also, we have to be patient with our students because everyone has his/her own capabilities. So that adjustment is also required.

Q7. Is it possible to learn French by yourself without any institutional help? If yes, how?

Expert Answer: Yes, it is possible to learn few words and some grammar via books or YouTube but to be a professional, you need proper guidance to qualify in the exam and get the right accent.

Q8. Can one learn French at the age of 35/40 and still get a job as a Translator or is there an age criterion?

Expert Answer: First of all, I must say there is no age limit for learning and if you reach a required level, you can be a Translator at any age.

Q9. My second language during my school days is French where I learned for getting marks. By now I’m working for Clients in France. I would like to refresh my basics and improve my accent. Could you suggest me Short time crash course with Tutorials for improving my accent?

Expert Answer: Thanks Shanth. That’s great if you already know some French and yes we have few courses regarding accents, pronunciations and grammar practice. But you will need some guidance initially to brush up your past knowledge and also add some new things.

Q10. I am searching for a group of French leaders & learners: Here is my effort to put my best question, in and around the world. The most French letter is pronounced more or less like the same using a vowel while video conferencing, how we avoid? Is there any trick to resolve? Hoping for the best and wish to meet u soon. Thanks

Expert Answer: Thanks Himanshu. I accept French pronunciation is not easy but still, we have some rules. If we practice and understand those rules clearly, I am 100% sure the learners can improve their accent and avoid mistakes. We can better discuss this when we meet sometime in future, thank you!
