Mohammed Tausif’s life took a twist when he decided to quit his 9-year-old role as an IT professional and started training students in Tableau. His passion to share knowledge and train people in learning software or tools led him to start his role as a trainer. Today, he is training students with real-time solutions that will help them become market ready.
Our heartiest congratulations to Tausif!
Here is an excerpt from the interview with Tausif, a Tableau Trainer:
Q1. When and how you started as a Tableau Trainer?
Ans: I started conducting training for Tableau from 2016. The move to become a trainer from an IT professional was mainly due to the changes I was observing around me. As a lover of technology, I would always keep myself updated with the latest tools and developments. I realised that there are many students and professionals out there who are looking for guidance when it comes to learning a software of any tool in-depth. My 9 years of work experience and the will to share my knowledge helped me set out as a Tableau trainer.
Q2. What skills are required to become a Tableau Trainer?
Ans: There are numerous skills that a trainer must have. However, as a Tableau Trainer, you should have good knowledge of Excel, SQL and Data Warehousing concepts.
Q3. What do you think makes you stand out from other Tableau Trainers on UrbanPro.com?
Ans: Right now, this is a difficult question for me to answer as each trainer has their own logic and skills in training. As a Tableau trainer, I ensure that I give my best and share my knowledge along with real-time solutions. This helps my students a lot. Currently, Tableau usage and scope in the market is growing. I provide training in a detailed manner that will prepare my students for the job market.
Q4. How you came across UrbanPro.com?
Ans: I believe in word of mouth publicity more than any other form of advertisement. One of my friends already had a profile on UrbanPro and has been getting enquiries. So, he suggested that I use UrbanPro to reach out to more students and increase my student base.
Q5. What was the turning point in your career?
Ans:Just like every coin has two sides, my career too had its fair share of ups and downs. Before being a Tableau trainer I was working as a VBA expert. I wasn’t very happy with the kind of opportunities that were coming my way. As my interest in training grew, I did a gradual switch to becoming a Tableau trainer. So, the change happened with a lot of hard work and blessing from parents and God and the will to follow my passion.
Q6. How UrbanPro.com platform helped you to expand your Tableau Classes?
Ans: Since I am new to UrbanPro, it is too early to answer this question. However, even if a single enquiry converts and that person is happy with my training I can get more students through that.
Q7. What percentage of your work comes from UrbanPro?
Ans: So far I have been providing training to people and audience I received through word of mouth publicity. I would love to grow through UrbanPro.
