The world most famous musical instrument, the piano is one of the largest instruments on the planet with the highest number of the note. This instrument has a royal personality that offers the softest/ delicate music to the most thunderous soundtrack. Today, due to its fascinating rhythmic enigma, the piano is renowned as the “King of the instruments”.

Being the bread and butter of music, piano provides an effective solid foundation and many more. Thus, it’s the great instrument for any music enthusiast to learn. Especially for those children who is extremely engrossed in musical education. Learning piano is something a person will cherish throughout the life as it is one of the most creative musical instrument that exist on the planet.
Concerning its various types, Piano has 3 different categories; Vertical Piano (Upright piano), Grand Piano and Electric (Digital) piano.

Vertical Piano: Vertical Piano is also known as the upright piano because of the nature of strings running upward from the bottom. It is one of the most commonly use piano due to its gentle/solid soundtrack and cost-effective nature. Vertical Piano is classified into six types:
Spinet is the smallest piano. It has 35″ – 37″ (height) 350 pounds (weight). Honkey Tonk 36″ – 60″, Consolette 38″ – 39″, Console 40″ – 43″ 460 pounds, Studio 44″ – 47″ 540 pounds and Professional 48″ – 60″ 590 800 pounds.

Grand Piano: Considered the most expensive and a royal look piano, Grand Piano is the largest and most powerful tones piano in the world. Known as the horizontal pianos due to its strings place horizontally, this piano is the all-time favourite professional choice. Grand Piano is classified into six types:
Petite Grand 4′ 5″ – 4′ 11″ (length) , Baby Grand piano 5′ 0 – 5′ 6″ , Medium Grand 5′ 7″, Parlor Grand/ Living room Grand piano/ Classic 5′ 9″ 6′ 1″, Professional / Semi-concert grand/ Ballroom grand 6′ 5″ 7′ 5″ and Concert Grand 7′ 6″ 9′ 6″.

Electric (Digital) piano: Favourite choice for moving performers (a group or an artist who visit various places to perform music), electric pianos or Digital piano is usually the most affordable one. The most popular piano among the jazz musicians, Electric (Digital) piano is the simplest form of piano which is user-friendly. For example, unlike the other piano, it can easily carry on the road or anywhere you wish. The Fender Rhodes, The Clavinova, The Clavinet, The Hammond organ and the synthesizer keyboard is the electronic keyboard pianos.
