School amenities in India differ according to the standard of the school and also according to the fees structure. Playgrounds and Sport Facilities

Open air theaters are ideal for morning assemblies and prayers, and students from the entire school can gather in one place. This can serve as an alternative to an auditorium and the stage can also be used to host shows and other cultural activities. In case of an emergency the open air theatre can be used as an assembly point for students as well.

Laboratory

Another must have amenities for schools are well-equipped and up to date laboratory facilities. Each school must have distinct sections for physics labs, chemistry labs, biology labs and computer labs. Labs require constant supervision and the materials required for these science labs must be stocked up on a frequent basis. Computer education is an important part of academics today and up to date computers must be available for students.

Classrooms

Students spend a majority of their time in school inside the classrooms and good quality tables and chairs are essential. Comfortable seating is a must and this affects the ability of children to concentrate to an extent. Cross ventilation is also essential and class rooms must be placed accordingly.
