Q1. How you started your career as a Software Testing Trainer?
Ans. In the past, I have been a Java Teacher and always wanted to do something new and different so I decided to learn and teach. I started to learn and build my professional career in Software Testing and then joined as a Software Testing Trainer. In 2010, I started my Software Testing Classes in a well-known private institute based out in Ahmedabad, where I have done my Basic and Advanced Software Testing course along with many testing tools. Really, it was not easy for me to acquire new knowledge in very quick time. I learned Software Testing within a very short period of time and felt it is a very responsible job. So I decided to take some more classes and spent 1.5 years gaining more practical knowledge. My testing learning journey still continues because I want more and more perfection in my professional career as well as in my students. After all, I am now very happy to choose Software Testing as it has enhanced my technical expertise.
Being a teacher, I am passionate about sharing my experiences and knowledge with all my students. I taught in several institutions and individuals too, and luckily I got huge appreciation and nice feedback from my students on UrbanPro. I want to thank all my students who made me well-known and a confident person.
Q2. What skills and qualities do you think helps you stand out from other trainers?
Ans. As a trainer or teacher, I always tried to understand students’ ability and after that I plan my training agenda accordingly. My way of teaching is not only simple but practical, and of course easy to understand for any level of students. Always respect your students, be humble every time whatsoever reason and pay attention to each and every student and clarify their doubts. Last but not the least, never finish training session until students are satisfied.
Q3. How you came to know about UrbanPro?
Ans. First of all I want to give Big Thanks to UrbanPro. In fact, when I was working in private institution as a Software Testing Trainer, I was looking for an online teaching platform where I came to know about UrbanPro. Q6. One piece of advice you would like to give to new Trainers on UrbanPro?
Ans. Have a bunch of advice which I have learned from others as well as experienced personally. Few of them are as below:
• Education is not a business, be honest towards your students.
• Do not focus on money, focus on your own identity and build your brand.
• Frequent login and answer students’ questions.
• Do better homework, before pass relevant knowledge/information to students.
• For a Trainer, this is not the END. So, consistently learning new things will be more helpful to you.
