Given below is an excerpt of the interview where she shared her exciting and successful journey as a French Language Trainer on UrbanPro.
Q. How you started your career as a French Language Teacher?
Ans. In the past, I have been an English Teacher and always wanted to do something new as well as different so I decided to learn and teach the French Language. In 2008, I started my French Classes in IIT Kanpur where I have done my Basic and Advanced French course. Really, it was not easy for me too to acquire any foreign language so I decided to take some online classes and around two years I studied for more practice and more learning. Finally, I went to Alliance Française for my DELF EXAMS A1, A2, B1 and I got qualified. My French learning journey still continues because I want more and more perfection in me as well as in my students.
Being a teacher, I am passionate about sharing my experiences and knowledge with all my students. I taught in several schools and institutions and luckily I got huge appreciation from my National and International students on UrbanPro. I want to thank all my students who made me well-known and confident person.

Q. What skills and qualities do you think helps you stand out from other French trainers?
Ans. I respect all the teachers and feel proud to be a part of this community. I try to be polite and patient while teaching so that students feel comfortable in the classes and can understand and grasp the concepts. To make student learn new things, a teacher needs to give proper time as well as be patient.
Q. How to come to know about Urban Pro?
Ans. I must say that I am lucky to get UrbanPro. In fact, I was looking for an online teaching platform on Google where I came to know about UrbanPro. It is one of the biggest platforms to teach online. As well as it’s so convenient for kids and housewives to learn what they want easily from the comfort of their or otherwise.

Ans. It’s around 70%.
Q. What do you think makes a good French Language Teacher?
Ans. To learn and teach a new language like French is not a cup of tea. One needs to understand each and every concept clearly. Secondly, building command over vocabulary is essential. Last but not the least, the role of correct pronunciation is indispensable. Also, one needs to give proper time and be patient while teaching.
Q. One piece of advice you would like to give to new French Trainers on UrbanPro?
Ans. Much of the advice would be covered by my answer to the last question. Yet, one needs to be consistently learning new things and practice a lot. To be a good teacher one needs to be a good student too. No doubt, I am too on a learning curve. There is a proverb in French that “petit un petit l’oiseau fait son nid” means drop by drop the ocean fills so by regular efforts only we can get the best result…
